As many of you may know, David has been a long time hockey fan. (see skatingrink and hockeynight for David's further involvement with the game) Ever since he landed in Canada from Scotland in the sixties he and his father adopted the game, as well as the country, as their own. When David was 30 he joined the National Novice Hockey Association fronted by none other than Gordie Howe. The NNHA taught the game to those who had not had the opportunity to play hockey as kids and provided them with a league in which to play. When we moved to Quebec David joined a Sunday night league in Lennoxville with the guys he worked with in construction. For half of the eleven years that he played Sunday night hockey David could be found in goal.

For the last 4 years David has been a full time musician, so he is happy to don skates and pads and face a few pucks to help raise money for the CARAS music education in schools program.
